Train90 Partner student sandbox terms
These terms apply when a fitness student signs up for a Train90 Partner student practice site (a "sandbox"). Please read them before you sign up. By ticking the box on the signup form and pressing Sign up, you agree to them.
Version 1.0 · Effective 24 October 2026
1. Who we are and who you are
Us: David Silver trading as Train90 (ABN 54 970 821 702), Queensland ("Train90", "we", "us", "our"). Contact: david@train90.com.au.
You: the student named on the signup form ("you").
2. What the sandbox is
The sandbox is a practice version of Train90 Partner: a website with your name and colours where you can build, track and adjust 13-week programs for practice clients, using the Train90 program engine, its reviewed exercise library and its automatic safety checks. You also get an admin page to see your practice clients' programs, screening results, check-ins and test results.
It's free while you study. There's no card, no establishment fee and no monthly fee.
3. Practice only
- Your sandbox is for practice as part of your fitness course. It isn't a personal-training business.
- You can have up to 3 practice clients with an unlocked plan at a time. They must be adults (18 or over) who know you're a student and that this is a practice site.
- You must not charge practice clients, or anyone else, for anything to do with your sandbox. Payments are switched off on the site.
- Every page of your sandbox says it's a student practice site. Don't describe yourself as a qualified trainer until you are.
- Follow your course's rules for working with practice clients, including any supervision your trainer or assessor requires. Practice clients still complete the pre-exercise screening, and if they're asked to see their GP first, you don't override that.
- Family (under 16) and calorie or macro targets aren't available on a sandbox.
4. Your enrolment
- You confirm you're currently enrolled in a fitness course (Certificate III or IV in Fitness) with the registered training organisation (RTO) named on your form, and that the evidence of enrolment you uploaded is genuine.
- We may ask your RTO to confirm your enrolment. If your RTO has a partnership with us, we may tell them, in total numbers only, how many of their students and graduates use Train90 Partner. We don't share your practice clients' information with your RTO.
- Tell us if you leave your course or your end date changes.
5. How long it lasts
Your sandbox stays open until 30 days after the course end date on your form. We'll email you before it closes. If your course runs longer, email us and we'll extend it.
When it closes, your practice clients can still open their current program, read only, for 30 days, and we tell them by email. After that we keep and delete records as our privacy policy describes.
We may close your sandbox earlier if you break these terms, if your enrolment can't be confirmed, or if we stop offering sandboxes (with at least 14 days' notice by email, except for a breach).
6. Your practice clients' information
Your practice clients' screening answers and progress are health information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Use it only to look after them and for your course work, keep your admin sign-in to yourself, don't copy it anywhere else, and don't include anything that identifies a practice client in an assessment unless they agree and your RTO's rules allow it.
7. When you graduate
When you complete your Certificate IV in Fitness, you can claim the graduate offer on the Train90 Partner terms: the Starter plan with no establishment fee, 6 months free, then $19 a month to the end of your first year, then the standard Starter price. You'll need your qualification certificate, current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and an ABN. Your graduate site is a new site; your sandbox closes as set out in clause 5.
8. Liability
We provide the sandbox free of charge, as it is, for practice. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the sandbox, and you're responsible for how you look after your practice clients.
9. General
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland. We may update them by giving you at least 14 days' notice by email. If you don't agree to a change, you can ask us to close your sandbox.
