Train90 Partner guide · for Australian personal trainers
Adding an online tier, without writing another program
An online tier lets you help more people than your diary allows: clients who can't book every week, people outside your area, and clients finishing a block of sessions. This guide covers how it works on Train90 Partner, how to price it, and what you need to join.
1. Who an online tier suits
- Your diary is full. You're turning people away, or your income is capped by the hours you can train.
- Some clients can't do weekly sessions. Cost, shifts or kids get in the way, so they stop rather than scale back.
- You're in a small market. Regional and rural trainers can reach clients well outside their town, under their own name.
- You train older clients. The Active Ageing program for 65 and over is built around balance, strength and confidence.
2. What your clients get
- A safety check first. Australian pre-exercise screening, with a GP check where it's needed before any program is released.
- A five-minute questionnaire. Goal, experience, equipment and the days they can train.
- A full 13-week program in their calendar. Three blocks from foundation to progress, with a test in week 1 and a retest in week 13. Week 1 is free to try.
- Weekly check-ins on the Adaptive plan. Two minutes each week, and next week adjusts to how they're going.
Everything carries your business name, logo and colours, and clients pay you through your own Stripe account. You can switch on plan approval so no program reaches a client until you've signed it off.
Try it as a client Free, about five minutes, shown under the Train90 brand.
3. Pricing your online tier
You set your own prices. A simple approach is to start from your session price and set the online tier well below a month of weekly sessions: it should be an easy yes for the people who'd otherwise say no.
| Online clients | Each pays you a month | Clients pay you | Your plan | You keep |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $25 | $125 | Starter, $99 | $26 |
| 10 | $29 | $290 | Starter, $99 | $191 |
| 25 | $35 | $875 | Starter, $99 | $776 |
| 40 | $29 | $1,160 | Starter $99 + 15 extra clients ($129 total) | $1,031 |
Examples only, not a promise of income. Monthly figures before Stripe's card fees and any tax, and without the one-off establishment fee. Plans include a set number of active clients; over that it's $2 a month per extra active client. Try your own numbers.
4. Running it alongside your sessions
- See every client, their plan and its status from your admin page, and open any program exactly as your client sees it.
- Your full client list is emailed to you every morning.
- Programs that fail an automatic safety check always wait for your review.
- Offer it to in-person clients between sessions, to people on your waitlist, and to clients finishing a block with you.
5. What you need to join
- At least a Certificate IV in Fitness (or equivalent).
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, with your certificate of currency.
- Your ABN, your logo (PNG or JPG), and the prices you'll charge.
- A Stripe account for client payments (you can set it up after joining).
Joining is one online form, about 10 minutes, with no call to book. Your site is live within 2 business days of receiving your qualification and insurance documents (usually the same day).
6. Cost, and the guarantee
Plans start at $99 a month, month to month with no lock-in, plus a one-off establishment fee, which is waived for our first founding partners while places last.
30-day money-back guarantee: cancel within 30 days of joining and we'll refund everything you paid when you joined.
